Morgantown, West Virginia
Welcome to Morgantown – named the nation’s #1 small
city in 2004 by The New York Rating Guide of Life in
America’s Small Cities.
The people are friendly, the scenery is beautiful,
the cost of living is affordable and public and private
facilities and services are at a premier level.
Morgantown really is the cultural, entertaining,
educational and commercial hub for many north central,
West Virginia counties on the northern border. It is a
lively, thoroughly modern and up-to-date city serving
almost 400,000 people in Mountaineer Country – five
north-central counties and two Pennsylvania counties.
Once you settle here, I am confident you will love it
as much as all of us here at Pat Stewart REALTORS do.
It’s a wonderful place to live and rear your family.
Rest assured your children will be in good schools, for
the graduates of our schools consistently do well. Year
after year you can read about their achievements and the
many scholarships they receive to fine colleges and
universities across the land.
Morgantown is proud to be the home of West Virginia
University, the flagship of higher education in our
state. It has hundreds of curricular programs to offer
at reasonable prices in today’s world. It provides so
many cultural, entertaining and sports programs for the
citizens. Indeed, almost every day one can fund multiple
activities at WVU that will add a special dimension to
your life. No member of your family will lack for
something to do if you elect to live in Morgantown, and
we hope you will join us here in one of the nation’s
greatest secrets for fine living.
Both Offspring and Expansion magazines recently
ranked the Monongalia County School System as one of the
top public school systems in the nation. In addition,
there are a number of fine private schools in the
county.
There are almost 100 churches of almost every
denomination in Monongalia County, so finding a new
church home should not be difficult.
The two major hospitals in Morgantown that also serve
a much wider area in the surrounding counties, including
Pennsylvania, are Ruby Memorial Hospital with its 370-bed capacity and Monongalia General Hospital with its
254-bed capacity.
We have been around for a long time – now more that
34 years – serving the people of Greater Morgantown. We
are a professional, caring agency and we come to work
every day looking forward to working with our buyers and
sellers; the foundation of every real estate company.
In addition, I had the pleasure of founding the Community
Newcomers Club more than 30 years ago and I’ll be
pleased to help you make contact with the club.
